Chronic Pain Support
The Australian Pain Management Association has recently received funding to develop and operate a website and telephone helpline service – Painlink. A wide variety of information and leaflets have been developed. Painlink can be accessed by calling 1300 340 357. Their website address is www.painmanagement.org.au
Community Workshop - Mt Isa
The State Government is reviewing its multicultural policy to ensure it remains relevant and responsive to the changing needs of our community.
Consultation for the review will be conducted from October 2009 to May 2010 and all Queenslanders are invited to participate through community workshops and submissions.
You are invited to attend a community workshop on Friday 23 April in Mount Isa to discuss future directions for multiculturalism in Queensland. Further details are included in the attached invitation.

Indigenous Cadetship Program
All interested Indigenous Nursing & Midwifery students are invited to join the Indigenous Cadetship Program. 25 positions are available starting in May and July 2010.
All interested persons need to complete the attached application form and return all required paperwork by the due dates: May Starters - closing date 23rd April 2010. July Starters - closing date 30th April 2010.
Only full applications will be processed, no late applications will be accepted. Students are encouraged to apply early before positions are filled. (application pack)
